How Ayurveda saved me: My Story

Like many, I lived a very active life and thought I was living it in a healthy way. It had become normal to me that I would, almost in a cyclic way, go between states of feeling really good and others where nothing seemed to be right. What Ayurveda helped me see was that I kept repeating patterns of behaviour that “felt like me” but that were only very familiar. In Ayurveda we call this a tendency and while we keep going in our tendency, we progressively create more imbalance over time. If you keep fuling fire you will only ever get more fire. When you learn how to read the early signs of imbalance, you have developed a self knowledge that allows you to practice the opposite in order to bring health back to its natural state of ease.

    Thank you so much for your teachings, guidance and support during the Ayurveda course. What can I say...It has been an amazing experience! As a busy entrepreneurial mom life is very hectic and I had kind of lost myself in the business of it all. I was searching for a method that would help me to feel more energised and stop the vicious cycle of reaching out to the biscuit tin in the afternoon when the kids come home. Previously I had tried various diet and exercise plans, but they usually failed after a few weeks. 

    So when I saw Charlotte's talk on IG, I knew she had the answers to what I was looking for and I wanted to give it a go.                     During the last 8 weeks I have noticed changes in my mind: I feel calmer, more present, more aware of my patterns and feeling more responsible and less victim of the circumstances.

                        This program was beyond my expectations. Although I have been learning about Ayurveda for several years, Charlotte has really been able to shine a whole new light on it for me. Linking the Ayurvedic lifestyle to the psychology of habit formation makes a big difference, especially as it relates to the nervous system. Wow!

                        Which modality meets you needs?

                        1:1 sessions

                        Ayurvedic sessions are a beautiful tool for those who are looking to implement the right recommendations for their constitution after just one consultation with the possibility to add on more, as they go. This modality is great for someone who like an occassional support, a check in whenever they feel it necessary but who feels ready to take on the work independently. They can book in as many or a few sessions as they feel is needed while doing the work of getting back to health on their own.

                        Customized program

                        The customised plan is perfect for those who really enjoy having the helping hand close by. They tend to know what they want to work on but feel the need to get a more clear plan on how to get there. This program lasts for 8 (+2 weeks) with weekly calls and even daily interaction if needed.

                        Group program

                        The group program is perfect for you if you wish to learn more about the Ayurvedic lifestyle while you get to understand your constitution and what you need to do in order to balance it. On top of it, you do this in the setting of a group. For those who like the group dynamic, this is a great option : it motivates and encourages you while you get to make new friends for life.

                        Retreat

                        The retreat is really a gift to yourself in order to get the perfect reset for the coming season. This modality works perfect in alignment with all the other modalities and is really the cherry on the top. We work with what we have throughout the year and through the consultations or even the programs, we get new knowledge and insights about ourselves. The demands of daily life might make it hard to keep up all year around and therefore is the retreat the perfect way to come back to yourself, in your body and mind, fully emerged in the work, without the disturbances of the outer world.
